A couple of weeks back Kobe Bryant’s daughter, Natalia Bryant, threw the ceremonial first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers game. Notably, the Dodgers celebrate September 1 as Lakers Night to honor the past and present Lakers stars. Natalia was invited to start the event with her pitch. Like most non-athletic human beings, the 20-year-old’s pitch was a bit off as it bounced its way to the catcher. While some fans trolled Natalia on social media, popular figures did not. However, that is not the case with Stephen A. Smith.

The analyst recently had the chance to throw the first pitch at a New York Yankees game. After throwing some decent pitches during practice, Smith was confident. But the pressure was on once he reached the mount and the pitch was off.

Many video clips of Smith’s pitch went viral online. One such clip showed his practice pitches and the first pitch in the “Expectation vs. Reality” style. Interestingly, Dwyane Wade thought it was hilarious and trolled the sportscaster. He commented, “This is Hilarious, SA you failed all man kind.”

Interestingly, the clip was posted by Smith and First Take’s official Instagram handles. But Wade is not the only one to make fun of the analyst. Notably, stars like Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Steve Harvey, and so forth had their say. However, Smith took the criticism like a champ.

Stephen A. Smith recently talked about Dwyane Wade’s Hall of Fame induction.

Wade was a part of the Basketball Hall of Fame: Class of 2023. The Miami Heat legend was inducted into the HoF for his incredible accomplishments on the hardwood. Over the course of his career, Wade formed a close bond with superstar LeBron James which started during their time together in Miami.

While many close friends of the Flash were present at the HoF event, James was not. Smith was not happy about this and called out LeBron. The sportscaster claimed Wade helped James a lot when he joined the Heat and he was disappointed LeBron was absent for Wade’s special day.
