As Dwayne Johnson made a surprise return to WWE yard after years of grinding wait, fans are in high hopes to see the legend more frequently in the WWE program. Capitalizing on that momentum, rumors mills are running high with the notion of The Rock’s potential appearance in the upcoming WWE’s big Australian event emanating from Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia on 24th of February, 2024. That said, the speculation didn’t please everyone especially Johnson’s online rival and WWE star Grayson Waller.

Waller recently has been a constant pain in the neck to more than one star. After getting on the nerves of John Cena at the Money in The Bank, he is currently fixated on The Rock. The Australian star didn’t have any direct communication with The Rock during his recent surprise appearance in SmackDown. However, the duo traded some social media barbs in the build-up to SummerSlam this year.

Now, given the possibility of him chiming in his home ground show in February, Waller looks to be so confident in his shoes that he thinks The Rock would do well to stay away from the affairs at Elimination Chamber 2024.

The Rock, prior to his SmackDown appearance, said that he would be open to a WWE return in Philadelphia which hosts WrestleMania 40 in April. Hence, Waller’s comments may suggest he wants The Rock to make his in-ring return at WM40 rather than Elimination Chamber.
His comments on Johnson didn’t really stop there. Waller also believes he can roll DJ over in terms of mic skill.
Grayson Waller challenges The Rock’s mic skill
When it comes to pitching great promos, The Rock is second to none. During his prime, there were very few talents who even came close to his legendary mic skills. The certified promo guy of WWE for over a decade is now in the face of an open challenge from the new-era blood, Grayson Waller.
The comparison might sound abstract for many traditional WWE fanatics, but Waller has gas in his tank. The cocky Australian star believes in putting himself in a constant test and obviously, nobody can be a better stimulator than The Rock.

While he admitted that The Rock is still best on a mic on his hand, he feels he can sustain the competition and even roll him over if given the chance.
Now, we need to see if The Rock really ends up appearing in Australia’s show next year or not. Regardless, we can’t blame Waller for building some heat though.
